International Fall Gathering 2024
Women leaders in science, business and society came together at the International Fall Gathering 2024
How can we strengthen women’s voices in science and innovation? How can we make academia a more diverse and inclusive space? At this year’s International Fall Gathering in Berlin, remarkable women from around the world came together to explore these questions. Hosted by the Falling Walls Foundation, the event served as a platform for connection, inspiration, and sharing knowledge.
The get-together comprised a dynamic sequence of panel discussions, engaging workshops and networking activities and connected our outstanding 20 female early-career scientists from all across the world (Intensive Track) with this year's winners of the Women's Impact Award, profiled role models as well as partners and supporters from the Female Science Talents community.
Programme highlights:
- An inspiring keynote by Anousheh Ansari (XPRIZE Foundation), who shared her journey and insights on driving meaningful change.
- Engaging workshops focused on building Female Networks and advancing Diversity and Equity in Science.
- Thought-provoking panels on Gender-Sensitive Research and Female Leadership from a Global Perspective
- The prestigious Women’s Impact Award Ceremony, celebrating outstanding achievements and contributions from female scientists.
The International Fall Gathering is a joined initiative of Female Science Talents, the Elsevier Foundation, the Bayer Foundation, the Volkswagen Foundation, the DFG - German Research Foundation - and the Klaus Tschira Foundation.
