Carina Geldhauser is a senior scientist (Associate Professor) at ETH Zurich and member of the Global Young Academy. She conducts fundamental research on mathematical models for phenomena in physics and biology and cross-disciplinary research in machine learning, applied to CO2 pollution monitoring, digital manuscriptology and reliable AI.
As a trained philosopher and theologian, she works and publishes also on the pressing questions of our time in AI ethics. Carina is a passionate science communicator and award-winning advocate for diversity in science.
