Mona Amer

Postdoctoral researcher working on wind turbines in earthquake-prone regions to make their operation more sustainable and more resilient. Conducting long-term field studies to close research gaps, develop improved design guidelines and setup monitoring systems that become part of digital twins, form parts of her ongoing research and research interests. In her PhD, she has already connected the worlds of mechanical engineering and civil engineering when bringing together established techniques with new applications.
