Daniel Carlson is an oceanographer and marine technologist. His work focuses on understanding complex processes that determine the fate of carbon and plastic in the ocean. His achievements include a Fulbright grant to the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Irving and Helen Betz Foundation Fellowship, the Rieger Foundation-Jewish National Fund, Fellowship for Environmental Sciences, and the German Scholars Organization Klaus Tschira Boost Fund Fellowship.
