Jelena Grahovac

Jelena Grahovac is a principal investigator interested in improving treatment for gastrointestinal cancers. She studied molecular biology and physiology at the University of Belgrade, and completed her doctorate in Integrative molecular biology at the University of Pittsburgh. After a postdoc at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Jelena started  a research group at IORS that works on problems of drug resistance and metastasis especially in the light of sex-related differences in cancer development and response to therapy.
