Vahid Nasirimarekani

Vahid Nasirimarekani has always been driven by challenges. After studying mechanical engineering in Iran, he increasingly focused his academic career on the life sciences. It is no coincidence that his current research interest is one of the most fundamental questions of all: how did life on our planet begin? At the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen, he is currently a group leader and investigating which external factors could have made this possible.
