Anfal Al Busaidi is addressing the inefficiency of solar cells in absorbing light by proposing the design of spectrally tunable transparent conducting electrodes (TCEs) for both the front and back of solar cells. The goal is to reflect absorbable light back towards the semiconductor and transmit non-usable radiation out, enhancing overall solar cell efficiency through a scalable method employing dielectrics and metals.
