KIWi Policy Talk: Secure science. European perspectives

Knowledge security is becoming increasingly institutionalised across Europe, with developments at EU and national level shaping expectations for more standardised and partly mandatory approaches. This raises questions on how responsibilities can be proportionately distributed across system levels to balance openness, autonomy, and risk mitigation – and enable secure international collaboration, highlighting Risk Literacy as a prerequisite for sensitive risk assessment and decision-making.
