Michael Harms has been Deputy Secretary General of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) since January 2022, based in Berlin. He previously held DAAD management roles including Director of Communications and head of the Cairo regional office, and earlier led international cooperation at the German Rectors' Conference.
