Legal Requirements
The legal requirements are based on the Barrier-Free Accessibility Act (BFSG), in particular § 14 in conjunction with § 3 (1) BFSG with reference to the Ordinance on the Barrier-Free Accessibility Act (BFSG).
Compliance with Accessibility Requirements
The following standards and guidelines were applied in order to comply with the accessibility requirements of this ticket shop:
- Harmonised European Standard (EN) 301 549, version 3.2.1
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2, levels A and AA
Our offering is based on standardised software for ticket shops. The manufacturer of this software has optimised it with the support of digital accessibility experts and subjected it to independent external accessibility testing using examples. The manufacturer regularly conducts further automated or manual tests internally.
When configuring the software to implement our ticket shop, we took the manufacturer's recommendations into account in order to achieve an accessible result.
Specifically, the ticket shop meets the requirements through the following measures, among others:
- The ticket shop is clearly structured and contains meaningful and sensibly structured headings and labels. Links are easily recognisable and labelled meaningfully.
- You can use this ticket shop without losing any information with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
- You can use and control the ticket shop with an external keyboard. This works for all areas and functions. Navigation is in a logical order.
- When you select interactive elements such as links or buttons using the keyboard, they are clearly highlighted (focus marker).
- Text and visual content have clearly recognisable contrasts. The display (e.g. font sizes) can be adjusted via the settings in your browser and/or operating system. All content is accessible without colour differentiation and there are text alternatives for users with impaired vision.
- Our ticket shop works with different orientations. You can orient your screen both horizontally and vertically. The display of the areas, content and functions adapts automatically.
- The use of our ticket shop does not require hearing or speaking ability.
- If there is a time limit for completing a booking, this will be announced in good time. You can then extend the limit.
- The ticket shop has been designed to help you avoid and correct errors.
- The ticket shop can be used without complex, path-based or simultaneous movements.
- The ticket shop does not contain any light or flash effects that could trigger photosensitive seizures.
If you would like to give us feedback on the accessibility of our ticket shop, please contact us using the contact details provided above under ‘Information about the provider’.
