Congratulations! As an international Lab Winner, you are now a Finalist in the 2026 Falling Walls Lab Global Finale (Emerging Talents category of the Falling Walls Science Summit)!
Here you will find all the information needed in preparation for your participation by browsing through the info and documents below and submitting the required materials.
Please keep checking back here as more material will become available here shortly before the Falling Walls Science Summit.
- Carefully study the Preliminary Programme (download on the right). Together with your local Lab Organiser, finalise your travel plans. Communicate your arrival time in Berlin, as well as check-in and check-out dates to the Falling Walls Lab Team.
- Familiarise yourself with the event locations, directions, and public transportation:

The Science Summit venue is just a 10min walk from the partner hotel.
On the day of the Global Finale, we will walk together from the hotel to the Summit.

- Finalists arriving in Berlin on 5 November: Please note that it is not permitted to bring your luggage with you to the Welcome Event location. Check-in at our partner hotel is possible starting at 3 pm. However, guests are welcome to store their luggage at the hotel prior to check-in.
- Attending the Science Summit from 6 – 9 November: Please note that only bags up to A4 size are permitted within the event location (Falling Walls Science House). For your convenience, we kindly request that large backpacks and similar items be left in your hotel or dropped off at coat check upon arrival in the venue (Falling Walls is not liable for missing itmes).
- Sightseeing in Berlin: From the Brandenburg Gate to the East Side Gallery, there are many sites worth seeing in Berlin. Don’t know where to start? The visitBerlin website is sure to help! Additionally, you can explore the city on a budget-friendly adventure with a ‘free walking tour’. There are many tour providers, but we have had great experiences with GuruWalk Berlin.
