Lisa Philipps

Lisa Philipps is the Interim President and Vice-Chancellor of York University. She has served the York community in a number of senior academic and administrative roles. An expert in taxation law and fiscal policy, her scholarship explores the values and interests shaping budgets and tax systems. She has contributed her expertise to many organizations including the Ontario Ministry of Finance, the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, the Provincial Judges Pension Board, and the National Association of Women and the Law.
