Dr. Arunima Murgai, a postdoctoral researcher at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, focuses her research on exploring targeted approaches and innovative therapies for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, and a Master’s degree from Newcastle University, U.K., reflecting her profound commitment to deepening her scientific knowledge. Dr. Murgai’s passion extends beyond academia as she actively seeks to bridge the gap between scientific progress and the global community, making groundbreaking discoveries accessible and impactful worldwide. Through her efforts, she aims to foster greater understanding and appreciation for science among diverse audiences, catalyzing positive change and inspiring engagement with scientific innovation.

I want to merge my passion for science communication with my broad scientific background to translate complex scientific concepts that empower and engage diverse audiences. I want this because I believe effective science communication is pivotal in connecting scientific advancements and public understanding, fostering a more informed and scientifically literate society. I can do this because of my enthusiasm for both scientific research and effective communication, coupled with my extensive and diverse experiences in science communication across various platforms and audiences.
