Canada Connect: Coffee Talk with an Early Career Researcher
Understanding patterns of human genomic variation is fundamental to advancing genomic medicine. Population history has shaped the frequency and distribution of genetic variants, influencing how we discover genes associated with disease. My research combines population genetics and large-scale genomic data to investigate these patterns and their implications for human health, opening new avenues for understanding disease mechanisms and identifying therapeutic targets.
