Željko Ivezić leads the Legacy Survey of Space and Time, the first science project of the newly constructed Vera C. Rubin Observatory. By capturing hundreds of images of the Southern Hemisphere sky nightly over ten years, this flagship initiative will stitch together a dynamic digital movie of the night sky.
