Allies in Action: What Does Good Male Allyship Look Like?

What can men do with the power, privilege, networks and influence they already have to make academia fairer for everyone? This session explores how meaningful male allyship looks like in practice – from challenging bias and exclusion to sharing access, visibility and opportunities. We will look at how men can use their positions and influence to challenge unequal structures, speak up against sexism, give credit where it is due, and help create a more equitable work culture in academia.
