Dr. Xiaodong Chen is the President’s Chair Professor in Materials Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), with courtesy appointments in Chemistry and Medicine. His research interests span mechanomaterials science and engineering, flexible electronics technology, sense digitalization, cyber-human interfaces and systems, and carbon-negative technology. He contributed over 380 papers and 50 patents, and he garnered numerous accolades for his scientific brilliance, including the Singapore President’s Science Award, the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award, and Dan Maydan Prize in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. He is also the current Editor-in-Chief of ACS Nano, a flagship journal in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
