Luping Shi

Luping Shi is a professor, and Director of the Center for Brain Inspired Computing Research (CBICR) at Tsinghua University, China. He received a Doctor of Science from University of Cologne, Germany in 1992. From 1996 to 2013, he was a division manager in Data Storage Institute, Singapore and led research on non-volatile memory, and optical storage. In 2013, he joined Tsinghua University and founded CBICR. He has published more than 200 journal papers including Nature, Science, Nature Photonics, and Physical Review Letters. He is the recipient of Singapore National Technology Award and a SPIE fellow.
