After starting his career in investment banking and fund management, Jan Kirchhoff co-founded HB11 Energy in 2017 together with Prof. Heinrich Hora and Dr. Warren McKenzie. HB11 Energy is developing a novel approach for fusion energy using Hydrogen and Boron-11 with many advantages over the traditional approaches, which use heavy hydrogen isotopes as fuel. He is one of the directors of the company and responsible for the commercial and financial aspects.
