Cao Thang Dinh is an assistant professor of Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Laval University in 2014. From 2014 to 2019, Dinh was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, where he led a team of students and postdocs that advanced to the final round of the Carbon XPRIZE competition. Dinh’s research focuses on developing electrochemical processes for renewable fuel and chemical production from carbon dioxide, water and renewable electricity. He has published over 90 papers in high-impact scientific journals, including several papers in the journals Nature and Science. Dinh was listed as a “Highly Cited Researcher” in the field of chemistry in 2021 and 2022 by Clarivate.
