Thierry Coulhon

Thierry Coulhon is President of the Management Board of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) since July 2024. He holds an Agrégation in Mathematics, a DEA in History and Philosophy of Science, and a Habilitation in Mathematics. His previous roles include President of the University of Cergy-Pontoise, Director of the Mathematical Sciences Institute at the Australian National University, President of Paris Sciences & Lettres, and Education Advisor in the French presidency. He has also served as President of HCERES, the French evaluation authority for higher education and research.
