Sibylle Anderl is head of the department WISSEN at ZEIT since January 2024. She studied physics and philosophy in Berlin and then received her doctorate in astrophysics in Bonn. She then researched star formation in Grenoble for a few years before moving to the FAZ's Feuilleton as an editor in 2017. In 2021 she was appointed to head the science department there. Sibylle Anderl hosts the monthly magazine "Space Night Science" on ARD-alpha, is the editor of the cultural magazine Kursbuch and the author of various non-fiction books. She has received several awards for her journalistic achievements.
