Seyoum Ayehunie

Seyoum Ayehunie is Chief Scientific Officer at MatTek, Ashland, MA. Ayehunie has developed multiple advanced 3D tissues to overcome animal testing. Ayehunie was a pioneer in HIV research in Ethiopia and received his PhD from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm (1992). He did his post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School (1993-1996). At Harvard, he received the Fogarty International and NIH fellowship awards and was an instructor of Medicine (1997).
