Johan Rockström

Johan Rockström is a scientist on global sustainability and Earth resilience. He led the development of the Planetary Boundaries framework, is involved in research on the future of the Anthropocene, Tipping Points in the Earth system, and global water resources. He is founder and member of many international scientific initiatives, like the Earth Commission or the Planetary Boundaries Science Initiative, and consults governments, international organisations, and business networks.
