Prof. Jeehwan Kim is an Associate Professor at MIT, focusing on innovations for next-generation computing and electronics. He joined MIT in 2015 after working on advanced CMOS technologies at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. He holds over 200 patents and has 70+ peer-reviewed articles. His contributions have earned him the IBM Master Inventor title, the DARPA Young Faculty Award, and the DARPA Director’s Fellowship. He is an Associate Editor of Science Advances. He earned his B.S. from Hongik University, M.S. from Seoul National University, and Ph.D. from UCLA, all in Materials Science.
