Xin Li is an associate professor of materials science at Harvard University. Xin Li’s research group designs energy-related materials and devices through advanced synthesis, characterization, and simulation, with the current focus on Li and Na ion solid-state batteries. He received B.S. degree in physics from Nanjing University, China, his Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering at Penn State and performed postdoctoral research at CalTech and MIT before joining Harvard in 2015. Prof. Li is also a cofounder of Adden Energy, Inc, which is a solid-state battery start-up aiming at combating climate-change with next-generation battery technologies for mobile devices.
