Andreas Güntner is assistant professor for Human-centered Sensing at ETH Zurich and co-founder of Alivion AG. His research revolves around nanotechnology, electronics and device engineering to develop molecular sensors capable of recognizing biomarkers, air pollutants or spoilage markers for non-invasive diagnostics, environmental protection and food safety. His scientific and entrepreneurial activities have been recognized by an ERC Starting Grant, Emerging Technology Award by RSC, and De Vigier Award.
