I want to inspire and demonstrate to all girls that we can pursue careers in STEM fields, develop professionally, and explore the world. I want to do this because girls need inspirational role models from their regions, and the statistics of women pursuing careers in STEM have yet to be improved. I can do this because I am of Maya-Kekchí origin in Guatemala, and have been studying diligently in different countries and regions since my early years of education.
