International Spring Gathering 2026
The Female Science Talents International Spring Gathering is taking place from 10-13 May 2026
This year's International Spring Gathering will take place from 10-13 May 2026 in Berlin. For the first time this year, we are inviting our 20 new Intensive Track Champions 2026 to come together for an exciting event filled with discussions, workshops, and networking activities alongside female leaders, role models, partners and Female Science Talents alumnae.
Highlights include a Fishbowl Discussion on Women Scientists Shaping Policy and Systems, a Research Canvas Workshop on translating scientific research into entrepreneurial use-cases, and a Masterclass on Strategic Communication: From Expertise to Influence. The agenda also creates space for meaningful peer exchange through a Poster Session on Global Health & Precision Medicine, as well as networking moments with the FST Community at Pizza and Connections.
A special Meet the Alumnae session will showcase personal career journeys of our alumna from PhD to entrepreneur. Beyond the planned programme, participants will explore the city together during the feminist city tour by the Berlin Side Stories, connecting the gathering to the broader social and historical context of Berlin.
This signature event is part of the Female Science Talents Intensive Track, a year‑long career development programme that supports 20 outstanding early‑career women* in science from all disciplines. Through skill‑building workshops, mentoring, and community‑building events, the programme strengthens leadership capacities, expands professional networks, and increases visibility for participants’ research. The programme culminates in two high‑level in‑person gatherings in Berlin — the Spring and Fall Gatherings.
We are delighted to welcome our participants, speakers, and partners to Berlin for this inspiring and empowering experience. Follow along as we share exciting developments ahead!
