Young-Kee Kim, Albert Michelson Distinguished Service Professor of Physics at the University of Chicago, is a particle physicist studying the origin of mass. She was bone and raised in South Korea. She was Professor at University of California, Berkeley and Deputy Director of Fermilab. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the Sloan Foundation, and the recipient of the Ho-Am Prize.
