Wolfram Münch is a physicist and energy researcher specializing in sustainable energy systems, energy infrastructure, and innovation. He serves as Head of Research & Development at EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, where he focuses on future energy supply, renewable integration, storage systems, and smart energy technologies. After studying physics, astronomy, and mathematics in Heidelberg and Cambridge, he earned his doctorate from the University of Cambridge in 1990.

Prior to joining EnBW, Münch worked in research and technology roles at Daimler and conducted scientific research at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Ulm and contributes to scientific and energy research advisory boards, with a focus on energy transition, innovation, and sustainability.
