Uwe Konrad

Uwe Konrad is Head of Information Services and Computing at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, a position he has held since 2002. He previously led software development at Siemens AG in the Energy sector.

He holds a Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Leipzig. His research focuses on research software, scientific computing, and data services, with numerous publications and contributions on software sustainability, FAIR research practices, and innovative IT services for science.
