Torsten Geissler

Torsten Geissler is the Science Counsellor at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ottawa. He has over two decades of experience at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, where he held multiple roles including Head of Division. During his tenure, he was responsible for shaping and implementing science and research policies at the national and international level.

In his current role in Ottawa, Geissler fosters scientific collaboration between Germany and Canada, promoting innovation, research partnerships, and international networking in science and technology.
