Tomáš Šimůnek

Tomáš Šimůnek is Vice-Rector for Doctoral Studies at Charles University in Prague and a researcher at its Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové. His work focuses on pharmacology and toxicology, particularly anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity and new strategies for cardioprotection. He leads a research group in molecular and cellular toxicology and is strongly engaged in supporting doctoral researchers and international scientific collaboration.
