Tim Florian Horn

President Tim Florian Horn is the founding board member of the Planetarium Berlin and serves as Director of both the Zeiss-Großplanetarium and the Archenhold Observatory. After studying Multimedia Production and Astronomy, he worked at planetariums in Kiel and Hamburg, as well as at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, where he produced planetarium shows and developed exhibitions, learning modules, and courses.

Horn brings a wide range of technical, artistic, and analytical skills to his work, leading the transformation of Berlin’s facilities from traditional star theaters into immersive science theaters. There, the latest scientific data and research are translated into engaging and visually striking presentations that combine education with immersive experiences.
