Stefanie Hauer

Stefanie Hauer is a driver of business model innovation for a nature-positive world. She is an investor into young companies that work with nature rather than against ist. As a board member at NatureRe Capital for instance, she brings together corporates, the financial community and best-in class project developers to restore nature at scale. She enjoys proving that it is possible to combine biodiversity and climate action with sound financial returns. She is also a member of the board of the German Carbon Removal Association DVNE and the host of her own podcast series Planetary Business. Stefanie has a background in the media industry heading publishing houses such as Die ZEIT and Bauer Media Group overlooking up to 7.000 employees. She graduated from WHU Business School, finished a program for supervisory board members at IESE and learned how to run a company without killing the planet at Al Gore’s climate reality training, at Cambridge and St. Gallen University.
