Stefanie Dimmeler is Professor of Experimental Medicine and Director of the Institute of Cardiovascular Regeneration at Goethe University Frankfurt. She is spokesperson of the Cardiopulmonary Institute (CPI) and the German Center for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK). An internationally recognized scientist, she has received major awards including the Leibniz Prize and three ERC Advanced Grants. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular disease, repair, and aging.
