Smita Abbi

Smita Abbi is Executive Director and Therapeutic Area Head for Women's Health, Regulatory Affairs, at Organon. With more than 25 years of experience across clinical development and regulatory affairs, she has led global regulatory strategies for innovative medicines spanning women's health, oncology, infectious diseases, and neuroscience.

Smita also serves as President of Vision Builders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to education, nutrition, and healthcare in underserved communities. She received a Points of Light Award for this work in 2024. She received her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY).
