Sir Konstantin "Kostya" Novoselov is a renowned condensed matter physicist. Together with Andre Geim, he isolated graphene at the University of Manchester in 2004, and the two shared the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics. His research covers 2D materials, intelligent functional materials and AI-driven materials design. He is President of Constructor University Bremen, Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Professor and Director of the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials at the National University of Singapore, and Langworthy Professor of Physics at the University of Manchester. He has published over 500 papers and received numerous international awards. He was knighted in 2012.
