Rutvik Lathia is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany. He completed his PhD in March 2024 from the Centre for Nano Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. His doctoral research focused extensively on the dynamics of particle-coated droplets, and he is currently investigating slide electrification at liquid interfaces. During his PhD, he was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship. Throughout his research journey, he has engaged in interdisciplinary work, integrating droplet dynamics, microfluidics, 3D printing, nano- and microfabrication, surface engineering, and microreactors, with nanotechnology serving as a unifying tool.
