Rudi Hoogvliet

Rudi Hoogvliet is a senior official in the government of the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, serving as State Secretary for media policy and as the state's plenipotentiary to the federal government in Berlin, with a seat in the state cabinet. Born in Vlissingen, Netherlands, in 1958, he studied political science and education in Stuttgart. Before his current roles he worked as government spokesman for Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann and led the state government's press office.
