Rivka Carmi

Prof. Carmi served as President of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2006-2018) and as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at BGU (2000-2005).She is a board-certified Pediatrician, Neonatologist, and Medicall Geneticist. In 2010 she became the first woman to chair Israel's Committee of University Heads. Prof. Carmi is currently serving as the President of The Israel Academy of Science in Medicine and the Chairwoman of Science Abroad.
