Ricky L. K. Ang

Prof. Ricky L. K. Ang is currently the Associate Provost (International Relations), and the Ng Teng Fong Chair Professor, from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He is a leading expert in the field of quantum transport for electronics, laser-matter interaction for photonics and fractional modelling. On these topics, his research has been funded by various agencies from Singapore and USA. He is a currently a fellow of APS, IEEE, IOP and AIIA; and a IEEE NPSS Distinguished Lecturer. He received his Bachelor of Science from the National Tsinghua University (Taiwan), MSc and PhD from the University of Michigan (USA). He was the LANL Director Postdoctoral Fellow. He is also a distinguished visiting professor at the Tsinghua University (Beijing), and Xi’an Jiaotong University.
