Reneé Turzanski Fortner

Renée Turzanski Fortner, Ph.D. is head of the Division of Cancer Epidemiology at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany, and holds an adjunct position as a senior researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. The goal of her research program is to provide meaningful, actionable knowledge on the aetiology of breast and gynaecological cancers toward prevention and earlier detection, as well as improved survival. She leads international collaborations aimed at advancing early detection and personalised prevention strategies.
