Raz Jelinek is Vice President and Dean for Research and Development at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), a role he has held since 2019. A chemist, he holds the Carole and Barry Kaye Chair in Applied Science and has been a member of BGU's Department of Chemistry since 1996. He earned his PhD in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley.
