Raphael Cervan

Raphael Cervan spent nearly fifteen years at Airbus, where he served as Chief Engineer on the A320 Family. He then chose to put his engineering expertise to work for the energy transition and founded Sunbiose, a French mission-driven company that builds renewable energy communities. These let rural municipalities, citizens and local businesses share locally produced renewable energy at a stable, fair price, keeping value within the community for a more independent and resilient Europe. Alongside this, he serves as an elected municipal councillor and as an independent expert for the European Commission’s Citizen Energy Advisory Hub, supporting citizen-led energy projects throughout the EU.
