Ralph Müller

Ralph Müller is a Professor of Biomechanics at ETH Zürich. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from ETH and was assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Harvard Medical School. His research combines biomechanical testing, simulation, and advanced bioimaging of musculoskeletal tissues. His methods enable precise phenotypic characterization across genetics, mechanobiology, and tissue engineering. He is a recipient of the ESB Huiskes Medal and an elected member and fellow of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences, World Council of Biomechanics, ASBMR and EAMBES.
