Ralf Kaiser

Ralf Kaiser is a nuclear and particle physicist affiliated with the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, where he works in a programmes role. He studied at the University of Münster and earned his PhD at Simon Fraser University, then spent nearly two decades on the faculty of the University of Glasgow's nuclear physics group, where he is now an honorary professor. He joined the International Atomic Energy Agency in 2010 as head of its Physics Section and in 2016 founded Lynkeos Technology, a University of Glasgow spin-out focused on muon imaging. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2020.
