Raíza Tourinho Lima

Raíza is a journalist and researcher passionate about how communication and science can drive social transformation. She is a PhD student at Poscom/UFBA (Brazil) and a visiting researcher at STS/UCL (UK). Her research examines collaboration between scientists and journalists, focusing on how co-production can enhance both fields. Since 2016, she has led the Communication and Scientific Dissemination team at the Centre for Data and Knowledge Integration for Health (Cidacs/Fiocruz) in Brazil, where she also co-founded the Public Engagement with Science group.
