Peter Limbourg

Since taking office as DW’s Director General in 2013, Peter Limbourg has worked towards adapting Germany’s international broadcaster to today’s digital media landscape. DW is significantly involved in the development of solutions ensuring the free flow of information – particularly in authoritarian regimes. Limbourg studied law in Bonn and later chose a career in journalism, working as a correspondent, anchor, editor-in-chief of N24 and senior VP News & Political Information at ProSieben Sat.1.
